CMML (Christian Missions in Many Lands) in the United States has changed their system of giving for their Canadian missionaries. If you are an American who donates to House Upon the Rock Ministry and/or Paul and Sharyn Branson, please read the following carefully.
For our Canadian supporters, this does not effect you.
First, we want to give thanks to God and to you for your financial support to House Upon the Rock and/or Paul and Sharyn Branson. We cannot express enough our gratitude to you. We know that you have many options for your donations, school sponsorship, mission teams, and financial blessings. We are honoured that you choose House Upon the Rock and/or Paul and Sharyn Branson.
What are the Changes?
CMML has removed Canadian missionaries/ministries (projects) from their website. This happened Wednesday without notification. CMML is doing some major changes and they are working out the bugs. Hopefully, but not guaranteed, Canadian missionaries will be returned to the website.
MSC Canada is the Canadian equivalent of CMML. You need to know what MSC Canada is for your online giving. The lingo is that we are called “MSC Workers” and “MSC Project” for House Upon the Rock Ministry.
How it Will Work
Effective immediately, CMML will no longer be transferring directly to us any American donations. CMML will be transferring all of our American donations to MSC Canada. MSC will exchange all donations into Canadian dollar and transfer the donations to us. Then we will exchange it into US dollar then Dominican pesos.
Tax Receipts
CMML will continue to issue all Americans a tax receipts and 100% of your donations continues to be forwarded to where you are designating your donation.
Cut Off Dates
Cut off dates for donations is the 20th of each month with the exception of December, which is always earlier (around the 15th). We will receive at the end of that same month all donations received by the 20th. All donations that arrive after the 20th, we will receive at the end of the following month (six weeks later). This is imperative to know for all of our school sponsors as deadlines are vital to pay the schools on time so as not to incur late fees or students being expelled due to late tuition.

Follow instructions in the blue box at the top that says:
When giving to an MSC Worker or project, please select “MSC Canada” from the “Missionaries” list. Proceed to checkout and add the missionary’s/project’s name and amount in the “Note to CMML” field.
You no longer select us or the ministry. You now select “MSC Worker or project” and then add details in the Notes box.
In the NOTES box, you will put:
For House Upon the Rock: Project House Upon the Rock Ministry, designation of your donation
For example:
School sponsor, put the student’s name.
Funds for a mission team, put the mission team’s name.
Donation is for the ministry, put House Upon the Rock Ministry.
For Paul and Sharyn’s personal support: Paul & Sharyn Branson
Cheques
Nothing changes.
Post your cheque to CMML (see address at end of this email)
MUST include a note stating the designation of your donations. The same as the Notes Box stated above for online giving.
Automatic Withdrawal
If you are already set up, nothing changes for you. You do not need to do anything.
If you want to set up AUTOMATIC WITHDRAWAL with CMML, you can do so by downloading this form and follow the instructions on the form.
